GROUP HUNTING : FREE ANIMALS

We have a Special where FREE animals can be hunted for group bookings on all the packages. This applies when more than 4 hunters book a hunt. The group will hold a lucky draw to decide who in the group will hunt additional free animals. The species also depends on the value of the packages chosen.

OBSERVER SPECIAL
Observers have the opportunity to hunt 1 animal free of charge.
Specie will be decided by the professional hunter.
INFORMATION ON HUNTING PACKAGES

All Hunting Packages include:

  • Round trip transfers to Port Elizabeth National Airport and the hunting camp.

Not Included in Hunting Packages

  • International and national charter flights
  • Pre and post safari accommodations and meals
  • Delivery of trophies to taxidermist, Dipping, Packing and Taxidermy work. (Current $120 per client)
  • Documentation and export of trophies to destination
  • Gratuities and other personal expenses for excursions, curios, gifts etc.

HOW DOES A HUNTING PACKAGE WORK?

We believe that our Hunting Packages are very good value for money because you have exactly the same chance of hunting the same quality of animal for which others, on conventional hunts, have to pay hundreds or even thousands, of dollars more.

On conventional hunts you pay the daily rate and the trophy fees of the game you hunt and wound, and you choose the species you wish to take. In a Hunting Package the animals were chosen for you and grouped together to be hunted. Various hunting packages (or groups of animals) are available for you to choose from.

The big benefit about a Hunting Package is that it allows you to take additional animals in the hunting area for trophy fees only, subject to availability of quotas and the discretion of the Proffesional hunter or Outfitter. You may also extend your hunt at the published daily rate, but extra days must be booked in advance.

Each hunting package will save you large amounts of money over the conventional hunt because it is a Package Deal. Now you can afford an African experience you have dreamed of, but never thought you can afford. Changes to Packages can be made if arranged prior to the start of your Safari.
TERMS & CONDITIONS ON HUNTING PACKAGES
  • Credit will be given back to the client (Package value of the animal) if he had NO CHANCE to hunt the specie in the package.

  • Hunting will stop when an animal is wounded and the wounded animal will be tracked first and killed immediately by a guide or hunter whoever has the chance to do so.

  • Animals wounded (blood, bone or stomach fluid visible on the ground) will be paid in full. If the carcass of the animal wounded can not be retrieved or found or is found days later, then a 25% penalty fee is payable on the value of the animal to cover the cost of the meat lost.

  • One day hunting is allowed per animal per client. If the client choose to pursue a specific animal or specie to be hunted by himself or fellow hunter and days are lost due to this decision whatever the circumstances (client missing or difficult to track down the animal or due to client wounding a animal or poor weather conditions), then no refunds on animals not hunted in the package.

  • Hunters will be allowed to exchange animals or add animals in the package where possible.

  • FREE animals can be hunted after the client finished his package animals first.

  • No credit given on FREE animals not hunted.

  • FREE animals not hunted by a client in a group can not be hunted by another client in the group. If you win an extra free animal in the draw then you need to hunt the animal yourself. No transfers of free animals to another hunter.

  • BASE RATE CALCULATION: Quotes to clients for hunts were calculated at the going exchange rate at the time of the quote which will be listed at the bottom of your quote e-mailed to you under "TERMS AND CONDITIONS"in the e-mail. The BASE RATE used for the quote will be listed in the e-mail at FOR EXAMPLE R9.00 to $1usd. If the South African exchange rate DROPS BELOW the BASE RATE used for the hunting quote at the time of your hunt at which the packages were calculated at and quoted then the difference in exchange rate at time of the hunt will be added to the original quote value and paid by the client at time of the hunt. Example if quote was calculated at R9 to $1 at time of the quote and at time of your hunt it is R8.50 to $1 then the difference of R0.50 to $1 will be added to your final account to be settled at end of your safari. This way we make sure you get 100% benefit of the best excange rate at the time for your quote. No guess work.
