FIREARMS & PERMITS
Book your flight via Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport to Port Elizabeth where a Professional hunter will meet you for the start of your dream African hunting safari.
Customs clearance is a mere formality.
A temporary import/export permit for your weapons is granted at your port of entry.
A valid passport and re-entry visa is required.
Required ammunition - approximately 80 rounds, must be well-constructed soft nose type.
Remember that you can always take the unused ammo home.
Your rifle should be packed in a hard carry case for transportation on the flight over.
A soft rifle bag will be supplied to you for the duration of your stay with us.
A bipod or tri-pod which can extend to be used in a standing position is very important and worth its weight in gold.
It will be best if you can bring two rifles. One small calibre e.g. .223, .22-250 or .243 and one large calibre e.g. .270, .30-06, 7mm, .300 mag or .375 H&H.
Make sure you are comfortable with your choice of rifle.
A good pair of binoculars and ammo belt is also recommended.
* In order to alleviate any import/export delays, we suggest you take advantage of the use of our firearms. Should you prefer to use your own firearm, a temporary import permit will be arranged.

* We encourage the use of humane hunting methods, which can be attained by the fitness of the hunter, his knowledge of his own capabilities and that of his preferred and chosen weapon.
A selection of rifles are available to rent at $25 per day,
and $2 per round of ammunition.
* Hunting handguns welcome.
